LAHIRU SILVA
Chairman

Lahiru Silva is the Chairman of Radiant International AMI Montessori Academy. He is an Associate Member of Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka, Certified Business Accountant of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, Member of Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka, an Associate Member of Chartered Professional Managers, an Associate Member of Association of Management Accountants of Sri Lanka. 

Lahiru Silva possesses experience in the field of finance over 17 years out of which 10 years in Senior Financial Management Positions in Sri Lanka & Overseas. He was a Manager at Ernst and Young Chartered Accountants and also a Visiting Lecturer for Taxation, Management Accounting and Financial Accounting Subjects at Institute of Accounting Studies for CA examinations.

THILINI SILVA
Co-Founder, Director

Thilini Silva, Co-Founder and Director of Radiant International AMI Montessori Academy, She is the Head of School Administration and Operation from 2016-2022 and was responsible for the administration function of school and wellbeing of the teachers. Thilini Silva has over 12 of experience in the field of Early Childhood Education and school management. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Lincoln University College, Malaysia, a Diploma in AMI Montessori Teacher Training from Teacher Training Centre, Colombo, Sri Lanka and a Diploma in Early Childhood Development and Education from Mother's Touch International Vocational Academy and registered teacher for IEMS examinations. Further she holds the Diploma of Education from Institute of Management & Technology in Chennai, India.

SHALEEN DE SILVA
Co-Founder, Director​

Shaleen De Silva is a Co-Founder and Director of Radiant International AMI Montessori Academy and was the Founding Principal from 2016-2022. She has over 12 years of experience in working with children from 1 1/2 years old through to 5 years old and has also taught, assessed and supervised beginning teachers and trained them to move into early childhood education. 

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Lincoln University College, Malaysia and a Diploma in AMI Montessori Teacher Training from Cambridge College of Higher Education. She is a registered teacher for IEMS examinations and she also holds a Diploma in Business Management from the National Institute of Business Management and a Diploma in Multimedia from Wijeya Graphics, Sri Lanka

SHERMILA SCHUCROFT
Co-Founder, Director​

Shermila Schucroft, Co-Founder and Director of Radiant International AMI Montessori Academy, She was the Head of Education and Learning from 2016-2022 and was responsible for the academic and pastoral wellbeing of the students.

Shermila has over 12 of experience in the field of Early Childhood Education and holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Lincoln University College, Malaysia, a Diploma in AMI Montessori Teacher Training from Teacher Training Centre, Colombo, Sri Lanka and a Diploma in Early Childhood Development and Education from Mother's Touch International Vocational Academy and registered teacher for IEMS examinations. Further she holds the Diploma of Education from Institute of Management & Technology in Chennai, India.
